I almost feel like this is too simple to post. This is a simple little snack mix. I came up with it, and I’m not making this up, going through my offers on iBotta.[1] The offer required me to buy both pretzels and chocolate chips to get the rebate. Snacks that are both salty and sweet are popular right now, so I just combined the two and that was it.
I dumped a bag of pretzels and a bag of chocolate chunks into the container and called it something fancy.
The Spouse wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. “Why would you do this?” he said, gulping it down by the handful. “This is weird.”
The Spawn didn’t try to make sense of it. She just ate it. Pretzels and chocolate? She’s a smart kid. She knows better than to question a good thing.
In all seriousness, I probably wouldn’t plop this down at
your next craft beer tasting, but for game night or movie night this really
does hit the spot.
